When I read this I made the connection to the clover leaf explaining the trinity - using a visual, especially for younger students, in my opinion helps them to understand better.
ReplyDeleteI also agree with your second comment 'there is too much emphasis given to the humanity of Jesus without enough attention being paid to his divinity'. I wonder if this is why the students' responses are stuck on the love, care share responses because they relate to the humanity so much easier. Our job is to challenge and forge deeper connections however it will never be easy.
